Player of the Year: David Forde

David Forde picked up his MSC Player of the Year award prior to kick-off on Saturday - and then showed just why he was voted the fans' No. 1 this season with a couple of magnificent saves to help Millwall record a Championship status-saving 1-0 win against AFC Bournemouth.

Fordey, who has three times finished as runner-up, was in top form and able to celebrate winning his award with a third clean sheet in The Lions' last six games.

Scott Malone, whose dramatic injury-time goal at QPR earned a 1-1 last Saturday, finished second with Martyn Woolford, today's 29th-minute goal match-winner, third.
