27 May 2014

One new ground to visit for The Lions

The weekend's Play-Off Finals at Wembley Stadium - which saw Derby lose out to QPR and Rotherham defeat Leyton Orient on penalties - have completed the Sky Bet Championship line-up for 2014/15.

The fixture list will not be announced until Wednesday 18th June, but The Lions can look forward to London derby games with Fulham, who were relegated from the Premier League, Charlton Athletic and Brentford, who earned automatic promotion from League One.

Joining The Bees back in the Championship is Kenny Jackett's Wolves, and Millwall will also face fixtures with Cardiff and Norwich, both of whom finished in the Premier League's bottom three along with Fulham.

Rotherham's promotion means The Lions will visit the New York Stadium, which was opened in 2012, for the first time in the club's history.

The longest away trip remains Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium which is 257 miles from The Den. In total Ollie's men will travel 3,090 miles getting to away games over the course of the 2014/15 Championship season.
