Lions duo in London to Amsterdam bike ride for Prostate Cancer UK

Millwall's club photographer, Brian Tonks, and programme editor, Billy Taylor (pictured), are just over one week away from taking part in Prostate Cancer UK's London to Amsterdam Football League cycle challenge.

The pair, along with 160 other riders, will set off from Leyton Orient's Matchroom Stadium on Friday 6th June before making their way to Harwich for an overnight ferry to Holland. The demanding 150-mile journey will be completed the next day when the group reach the Amsterdam Arena, home of Dutch giants Ajax.

. "I've been blown away by their enthusiasm in doing the work that they do to benefit"In my role as programme editor I've worked closely with staff at Prostate Cancer UK throughout the season," Billy told

"The Legends charity match at The Den earlier this month raised a further £2,000 for Prostate Cancer UK, but we want the fund raising to go on and on so that's why Brian and I are taking part in this cycle ride to Amsterdam. It promises to be both challenging and enjoyable, and we can't wait for the journey to start next month.

"Brian and I are incredibly grateful for the generosity of those who have sponsored us and sent their best wishes, but we're looking to raise as much money as we possibly can for an incredible charity so please dig deep!" and hereFor more information about the pair's cycle challenge, and to donate, visit Billy and Brian's Just Giving pages
