Lions v Blues down the years

Tonight's Championship clash with Birmingham City will mark the 41st meeting between Millwall and Birmingham City - and few can have been as important in recent years with The Lions desperate for points to move out of the bottom three and Blues equally desperate not to get sucked into the relegation battle.

Millwall go into action against The Blues having won nine of the previous 33 League meetings, with Birmingham finishing victorious 15 times and the other nine matches ending all-square.

The remaining seven encounters between the two teams have all eventually gone Birmingham's way in two FA Cup, one League Cup and one Play-Off match. Two League Cup and one Play-Off game were drawn.
