Edwards set for Den debut

Millwall have signed Trinidad & Tobago winger/wing back Carlos Edwards on loan from Ipswich Town until the end of the season.

The former Wolves and Sunderland player joined the Tractor Boys for £1.35m in 2009 and has scored nine goals in over 180 League appearances during his time at Portman Road.

Still remarkably quick at 35, he will add attacking threat to Ollie's squad down the right flank and is set to be added to the squad for the visit of Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Talking about the prospect of coming to The Den, Carlos said: "It's important for me at this stage of my career to be playing week-in week-out, so when I heard Millwall were keen to take me I jumped at the chance.

I know they are in a relegation fight just now and I'm looking forward to playing my part in helping them in their battle to stay in the Championship."
