DJ: It's crunch time

25 March 2014

'We've got to do the business' says striker

DJ Campbell has pulled no punches with his assessment of Tuesday night's Den battle with fellow basement boys Birmingham City.

"We need to start winning games, and we need to start winning now," said the striker, whose wonder goal at Leeds United sparked a fightback that so nearly earned a draw as The Lions were eventually edged out 2-1.

"I thought we were unlucky on Saturday; we played extremely well and were the better team. To have played so well and deserved to win and get nothing is tough," he told Lions Player.

"I hope we can bounce straight back on Tuesday against Birmingham. We need to start winning games.

"We have got to do our jobs. It's crunch time. Games are going, time is ticking. We have got to start coming to the forefront and do the business. That has got to start on Tuesday."
