Millwall U21s 3 Brentford U21s 2

Millwall's U21s came back from two goals down to beat Brentford 3-2 in a Tuesday afternoon thriller.

A brace from Aiden O'Brien and a super strike from Kyron Farrell saw Neil Harris' boys turn the game on its head in the second half after trailing 2-0 at the break.

A Brentford side featuring ex-Lion Scott Barron deservedly took the lead on the half hour through Tyrell Miller-Rodney, and the same player doubled the advantage from 25 yards just before half-time.

The Lions reduced the arrears six minutes after the restart through Farrell's belter from the edge of the box, before O'Brien headed his side level just before the hour.

The Irishman then completed the comeback when he beat the offside trap to latch onto a clever flick from Kris Twardek before shooting under Bees keeper Jack Bonham.

Millwall: Bywater, Siafa, Nelson, Wood, Peter, Hoyte, Smith, Farrell, Twardek, Philpot, O'Brien. Subs not used: Parr, Gerrar, Bryon, Ndjoli.
