Away Season Tickets will not affect Season Ticket holders' priority
Following discussions over the weekend with Fan on the Board Pete Garston, we would like to make the following clarification with regard to the new Away Season Tickets which are now on sale.
Firstly, these will be available to purchase by Home Season Ticket Holders only.
Secondly, Away Season Ticket Holders will commit to purchase 20 away tickets for the forthcoming season. For the £20 admin fee, on the day each away ticket goes on sale it will be sent out to them, saving the need for queuing at the ticket office, using the call centre or the millwalltickets.com website to make their purchase.
Last season, 30 fans attended 20 or more away matches, the majority of whom were Home Season Ticket Holders, and we would anticipate a take up for Away Season Tickets in the region of 100.
Consequently, Home Season Ticket Holders wishing to purchase tickets for individual away games will be largely unaffected by this innovation, and will retain priority over Members and casual fans.
In 2013/14, the only away match for which demand exceeded supply was QPR where our allocation was just 1200.
While we expect a high demand for Fulham tickets on 16th August we envisage our allocation will be sufficient to meet demand.
