Defender looks forward to life at The Den
Byron Webster put pen to paper on a two-year contract at the Den on Tuesday afternoon and the former Yeovil defender is already eager to get the season started.
The towering centre half, who checked in at just under 6ft 6in during his medical earlier today, is set to meet his new team-mates for the first time when The Lions return from their summer break this Thursday.
"I can't wait to get started," Byron told Lions Player, "And to start the season with a game against Leeds, my home-town club, is going to be great."
Byron will come across at least one familiar face on Thursday in the shape of former Yeovil team-mate Ed Upson, who made the move from Huish Park to The Den in January.
"I spoke to Ed and he's being giving me a heads up and speaks very highly about the club. I'm just really looking forward to starting on Thursday."
