Sound and Vision

11 July 2014

Ollie's pride and Premier League goal

Ian Holloway took the opportunity to share his vision of Millwall's future with the fans who attended the grand opening of the new Lions Store on Friday.

He said: "What a wonderful facility this is for the football club and the fans.

I want to thank (Head of Retail) Stuart Lock for his vision for this store, and he has asked me to thank Peter Trotter, a massive Millwall fan for what he and his company Wallace Teagan have done in putting it all together for us.

This is another step towards what the chairman, myself and everyone working for this football club are trying to achieve here.

We want people to be talking about Millwall differently from before. We want people talking about the quality of what we do on the pitch and off it.

I want people bringing their family safely to watch us beat other teams, and I intend to be here as long as it takes to get us into the Premier League.

That's my vision, but vision without the actions of the players is just a dream.

I need you to encourage them every time they pull on a Millwall shirt. I need you to trust me when I bring players into this club and not to judge them because of who they may have played for in the past, but to let them show what they can do for us.

This Millwall family is all about honesty, hard work and pride.

I'm proud of you and of everyone who works for this wonderful club, and I'm looking forward to seeing if we can realise my vision together."

Look out for Ollie on Lions Player next Monday and don't forget, the Lions Store is open this Saturday 9am - 5pm and on Sunday 10am - 4pm.

Normal Lions Store opening times: Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm.
