Ollie outlines approach to first friendly

Lions fans have their first chance to see new boys Lee Gregory and Byron Webster in action on Tuesday night as Millwall take on Conference Premier outfit Dartford at Princes Park (kick-off 7.45pm).

Boss Ian Holloway says this is the next step in the squad's pre-season preparation but makes it clear that they are not yet the finished article.

He said: "This will be a training session against proper opposition really. I will be fielding a different team in each half, and each will be similar in strength, mixing in senior players with some of the younger lads.

We've already got a good base to work from now, and what this game will introduce is some extra physicality and a chance to ease ourselves into the tactics.

What I hope to see are some signs of the form we showed at the end of last season, and of course I'd like to win the game. But we have to remember that this is primarily a training exercise."

Millwall will take to the field at Princes Park wearing the new 2014/15 home kit.

For those who can't get along to the game, there will be full 90 minutes commentary on Lions Player.
