Wait and see

23 January 2014

Ollie pleased with players' response but will add if needed.

Lions boss Ian Holloway has played down any further transfer talk with the January window set to close in eight days time.

He has already brought in right back Ryan Fredricks and striker DJ Campbell on loan, and inevitably as January 31st approaches the rumour mill is starting to turn.

"If I need to make further changes, I will," stated Ollie, "but first and foremost, the players already here are being given every opportunity to prove their worth.

I am not pre-judging anybody. Collectively things have been wrong and it is up to the group to put them right which is what we are working on."

Talking about Campbell, who played under him at Blackpool, the manager added: "I'm delighted he wants to work with me again. We trust each other and I'm confident what he'll bring to us is goals and workrate, just as he did at Ipswich last season."
