Midfielder moves to The Den from YeovilMillwall are delighted to announce that Ed Upson has now put pen-to-paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal at the club after successfully completing a medical on Friday night. The club had earlier agreed an undisclosed fee with Yeovil Town for the midfielder's services, and Upson has now signed a deal at The Den which runs until the summer of 2016.
The 24-year-old began his career at Ipswich Town, rising through the youth ranks before having loan spells with Stevenage and Barnet.
Having not made a senior League appearance at Portman Road he joined Yeovil in July 2010, and played a pivotal part in the club's promotion to the Championship via the League One Play-Offs last season.
Suffolk-born Upson hit the winning goal in The Glovers' 1-0 victory at The Den on the opening day of this campaign - one of five goals in 28 appearances so far in 2013/14.
In total he featured 148 times for the Huish Park club, scoring 17 goals.
Upson becomes Ian Holloway's fourth signing since his arrival as Millwall manager, and will watch from the stands as The Lions take on Reading at The Den on Saturday (3pm).
He will train with his new team-mates for the first time on Monday ahead of next week's trip to Burnley.
