Shrimpers v Lions down the years

Saturday's game at Roots Hall will be the 80th meeting between Millwall and Southend United - and to date The Lions hold the upper hand in terms of results.

Millwall have beaten Southend 33 times in League meetings, with 22 matches drawn and the Shrimpers victorious in 24 games including a 1-0 win back in 1993 - the first and only FA Cup meeting between the two sides to date.

The Lions have enjoyed greater success most recently, with three wins and two draws from the last five encounters, during which Millwall have kept three clean sheets.
