Ollie demands commitment

10 January 2014

New boss spells it out

Ian Holloway will demand every last ounce of energy and commitment from his players as Millwall head to Huddersfield aiming to record only a second away win of the Championship campaign.

Ollie takes charge of the team for the first time following his appointment as Lions boss earlier in the week, and he has made his feelings known quite clearly on what he is expecting.

"The fans are honest," he said, "They tell you what they think but they stick with anyone trying their hardest. And that's the bare minimum I demand too.

It's a tough division but I look around that dressing room and there's some fantastic talent.

Hopefully we can stop losing – that's the first thing. I'll try and galvanise them into a way of playing – a Millwall way of hard work and effort. I want them to enjoy their football and start getting some results under their belts."
