Ollie praises players after Ipswich winMillwall boss Ian Holloway couldn't hide his delight after watching his side run out deserved 1-0 winners over Play-Off hopefuls Ipswich Town.
Ryan Fredericks' freak goal midway through the first-half on his Millwall debut turned out to be enough to claim all three points in Ollie's first home game in charge, and the boss, speaking afterwards, was over the moon with the performance of his players.
"I asked them for certain things and that's what they gave me," he said.
"I'm delighted for the players, I really am. We fought, got stuck in and deserved it. You have to play from your defence and Danny (Shittu) and Shane (Lowry) were outstanding.
"They gave it everything they had and we got the goal, which was a nice slice of luck for us."
Ollie also had plenty of praise for the Millwall fans who helped to create a memorable atmosphere inside The Den.
"I love this crowd. I love everything about this place. It really feels like I'm at home.
"I've never felt so wanted in my entire life. Not as a player, or as a manager. Kenny (Jackett) was here for five years and I want to be here for longer than that. I mean it.
"This was a good start but we will now take the players away and work them hard for a week in Portugal.
"They will be training three times a day in good weather and on good pitches. I can control what they eat and when they go to bed.
"There will be plenty of training but time for some video analysis as well so the players can keep learning how I want them to play."
