In it together

Keeper Bywater praises Ollie's impact on the squad

Stephen Bywater admits it is an exciting time to be at the club following Ian Holloway's appointment as manager.

The keeper came off the bench to replace the injured David Forde against Ipswich Town last Saturday and, speaking afterwards, says Ollie's arrival at the club has increased the togetherness amongst the players.

"The squad are all together and we're all fighting for each other," he told Lions Player. "It's exciting. The manager has come in and given us belief and we're sticking together.

"We all know what the fans want and what the club is about. We play for Millwall and we know that the basic, minimum requirement is that you dig in for each other and fight tooth and nail.

"He's got experience and has done it not once, but a few times before. I like what he's got to say and I know the other lads are the same. What he says is inspiring and we like the way he wants to play and how he wants to be as a human being as well."
