Bristol City U21s 4 Millwall U21s 0
Three individual errors cost Millwall U21s dearly as they went down 4-0 at the hands of their Bristol City counterparts on Monday afternoon. After falling behind to a contentious penalty, converted by Toby Ajala on 37 minutes, Millwall were well in the game until late on in spite of Wes Burns second for the home side five minutes after the break.
"The scoreline was a bit harsh," he said, "but we were punished for individual mistakes I'm afraid. It was a good experience for the younger lads playing alongside the likes of Robbo, Jack Smith and Justin Hoyte, and for the seniors it was a useful 90 minute run out.
The lessons to be learned were about better decision making at both ends of the pitch."
