Lions just edge Tykes
Millwall head to Barnsley on Saturday looking to record their first away win since 21st September 2013.
On that occasion, a solitary deflected strike from Scott McDonald was enough to secure a 1-0 success at south London rivals Charlton Athletic.
Both The Lions and Tykes go into action this weekend having won just once in their previous 13 starts. For Millwall, Ryan Fredericks scored the decisive goal to see off Ipswich Town on 18th January 2014, exactly the same day that Barnsley recorded their last Championship win - a 2-0 victory over Blackpool.
Overall, the statistics marginally favour Millwall with 20 victories to Barnsley's 19, the remaining 12 matches have finished all square.
The Lions edged to victory when the two teams last met at The Den on 23rd November courtesy of a late own goal from Scott Wiseman.
Both teams welcome back players from suspension for tomorrow's basement battle with Shane Lowry returning from a four-game ban for Millwall and Jacob Mellis completing a three-match suspension for the hosts.
Boss Ian Holloway also include defenders Mark Beevers and new signing Federico Bessone in a 22-man squad travelling to Yorkshire.
