Dunne happy to play at centre-halfAlan Dunne has told Lions Player that he will play wherever boss Ian Holloway wants him to after featuring at centre-half against Bolton last Saturday.
The defender played alongside Danny Shittu at the heart of Millwall's defence in the 1-1 draw with The Trotters and Dunne says he will do whatever it takes to help the team pick up vital points as the battle to avoid relegation continues.
"It was nice to play and get some minutes in," he said.
"He (Ian Holloway) has been working with me on things at centre-half as he thinks I can add something there in different games with some pace. If it benefits the team and benefits the club, then I'm more than happy to give it 100 per cent.
"Kenny (Jackett) used to say that he thought I could play anywhere along the backline because of my experience, pace and ability to read the game.
"The manager has shown good faith and belief in me and I was happy to get my head down and help the team get a result. Whoever plays it is vital that we get points. At this time of the season we need to back whoever gets chosen."
