Holloway calls for togetherness

26 December 2014

Manager Ollie speaks ahead of Millwall's trip to Carrow Road

Millwall boss Ian Holloway believes his side has what it takes to earn a positive result away to Norwich City on Boxing Day.

The Lions head into the game on the back of a narrow defeat to Bolton at The Den last time out, but were victorious in their most recent away game - a 1-0 success over Brighton earlier this month.

And Ollie, speaking ahead of Friday's game at Carrow Road, is confident that his men can gain a vital three points against The Canaries.

"I believe we can beat anybody on our day," he said. "We have got to make sure those days come a little bit more often.

"The team will be ready and prepared. We will deal with going up to Norwich on Christmas Day and let's hope we can get the right result. I believe we can.

"We've got 24 tough games to go and I'm looking forward to every one of them. What we need to do is stick together. We have earned the right to be in the Championship and we want to stay here.

"It is about where we are going and what we are building. We have been really close and tight in nearly every game apart from Middlesbrough.

"I need to add some and I will try to add the right people in January if we can. If not, let's get behind this lot and keep them going. We want togetherness.

"What I want to do is get this group ready to take whatever is throw in front of it."
