Ollie looks for repeat performance

12 August 2014

Boss calls for similar intensity to the weekend win over Leeds

Boss Ian Holloway has called on his side to show the same quality and intensity as they did in the win over Leeds against Wycombe Wanderers at The Den tonight (7.45pm).

Millwall started the season in perfect fashion with Saturday's victory and will be looking to increase their unbeaten run, which stretches back to the end of last season, to 10 games with a win in the Capital One Cup First Round tie against Gareth Ainsworth's Chairboys.

Speaking in tonight's edition of The Lion, Ollie says: "I will probably make a few changes because some of the lads who played on Saturday will need a bit of a rest, and at the same time there are others in the squad who deserve a chance.

"What I'm trying to build here is a group where everyone knows their job and they are all capable of coming into the team at any time and doing a job.

"We will have to produce a performance of similar quality and intensity in this game. Wycombe Wanderers also made an excellent start to their season with a 2-0 win and I'm sure Gareth Ainsworth will have them fired up to come here and try to perform a giant-killing."
