New striker looks forward to life with The Lions

New signing Mathias Ranegie has declared himself fit, ready and raring to go to get the goals to help push Millwall up the Championship table.

Striker Mathias, who joined The Lions on loan until January from Watford just 48 hours ago, is hoping to get his first taste of action for Millwall when Ian Holloway's side host Blackpool at The Den this afternoon having been named as one of the seven subs.

"Last week I heard that there was interest from Millwall," Mathias told Lions Player. "I knew a little bit about the club. I didn't get the game time I wanted at Watford and I think it will be a good fit being here.

"I'm a good box player, good with my head and feet and reasonably fast. I am a strong player and I hope that you're going to see that fast. I am fit and ready to play, for sure.

"Millwall have a good squad and I hope we can both win. I hope to help Millwall score goals and try to get promotion and from my own sake I need to play and show my best. It is a win win situation."
