Welsh wizard Mark looks forward to Millwall Masters
Welsh darts ace Mark Webster has revealed his desire to win the Millwall Masters as he looks to kick-start his bid for honours on the PDC circuit.
Webster has earmarked the event, which includes fellow top professionals James Wade and Paul Nicholson as well as the legendary Bobby George, as a marker for his form ahead of the year's televised tournaments.
The former World Champion, who is appearing at Millwall FC on Thursday 12th June, highlighted the quality of the quartet in action as a good test of his form.
"I am really looking forward to the Millwall Masters," said Webster, who reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Championship.
"I'm a big football fan so I enjoy the chance to visit football clubs and play darts. Paul and James are two of the best players around at the moment so I see it as good opportunity to show that I am too.
"It will be a fun night but we will all be trying to win and it will be a great confidence boost for whoever does. I hope it will be me.
"I'm also looking forward to meeting some of the darts fans, and taking on some of the local players. There is normally one or two that give us a real run for our money and I know that there are some great players in the area. It should be a fantastic night."
