Latics v Lions down the years

Tuesday's visit to the DW Stadium will be the 25th meeting between Millwall and Wigan Athletic - and to date The Lions hold the upper hand results-wise.

Millwall have beaten Wigan nine times in League meetings - including last time out in December when goals from Steve Morison and Jermaine Easter secured a 2-1 victory at The Den. Seven matches have been drawn and the Latics have finished victorious in five games.

The Lions and Latics have each recorded one win apiece in the FA Cup whilst Wigan ended up victorious in the only League Cup meeting between the two sides.

Overall there is little to seperate the two teams, with Millwall enjoying 10 wins,  seven games drawn and Wigan coming out top on seven occasions.
