Kevin PressmanKevin Pressman was appointed Millwall’s goalkeeping coach ahead of the 2012/13 season under then-manager Kenny Jackett.
He is best remembered for his time at Sheffield Wednesday where he made an incredible 480 appearances between November 1985 and July 2004 after rising through the ranks at the club. Pressman was widely considered to be one of the Premier League’s best goalkeepers during his long association with The Owls.
After leaving Hillsborough, Pressman went on to sign for Leeds United, Coventry City, Mansfield Town and, lastly, Portadown in Northern Ireland, before calling it a day on a superb playing career.
Pressman’s first coaching role came as goalkeeping coach under Nigel Adkins at Scunthorpe United, before becoming Ian Baraclough’s assistant with The Iron. He left the club in 2011, however, and moved to Bradford City as goalkeeping coach in August of the same year, before spending some time at Manchester City ahead of his appointment at The Den.
He has since worked with the club’s goalkeepers and helped David Forde along the way to becoming the Republic of Ireland’s number one.
