Back the Lionesses every step of the way

7 April 2014

Season tickets start from just £8 for U16s

Millwall Lionesses kick-off their debut campaign in the Women's Super League 2 at The Den - and you can be there every step of the way.

The Lionesses joined the new Women's Super League in April 2013 and will compete alongside nine top class teams in the newly expanded FA WSL 2.

It is set to be an exciting campaign with newly emerging teams such as Durham and London Bees taking on experienced forerunners of the women's game such as Sunderland and Doncaster Rovers Belles.

The Lionesses have been busy throughout the close season, recruiting experienced international players Kylie Davies, Sophie Perry and Naomi Cole, while working closely to bring through the talented youngsters already within the Millwall set-up.

This season rising stars Lilli Maple, Shauni Griffiths, and Ciara Sherwood will be pushing for first team positions, having consistently impressed with their recent performances in the Development squad.

Thanks to Millwall FC, who recently announced that all home matches will be played at The Den, the Lionesses have some of the best facilities in the women's game, and you can snap up a season ticket to enjoy every minute of the action for just £25 Adults, and £15 for U16s.

Season tickets permit entry for the ticket holder to all Millwall Lionesses home fixtures, including nine Women's Super League 2 games and Continental Cup matches - meaning you get over 50 per cent of matches free if you buy a Lionesses Season Ticket!

The offer is even better for current Millwall FC season ticket holders who can get their Lionesses season ticket for just £15 for Adults, and £8 for U16s. That's less than £1 per fixture!

The FA WSL fixtures have already been announced with Millwall's first home game against London Bees on Wednesday 23rd April, while the season reaches its climax with another home clash against Sunderland at the end of October.

Apart from the League, the Lionesses also have some exciting Continental Cup matches lined-up including a home tie against Arsenal Ladies, which is also included in the price of the season ticket.

First team manager Alberto Kurti can't wait for kick-off and said: "There is a massive buzz this year around the team and we can't wait for the League to get going. We want to share this experience with all our fans and that's why we decided to offer our season tickets for The Den at such a fantastic price – it won't be the same without the fans that have supported us and hopefully we want to gain some more."
