Saturday's team news

27 September 2013

Who's in, who's out

Mark Beevers' knee injury has provided Lions boss Steve Lomas with a selection poser ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship visit of Leeds United.

The central defender sprained his medial ligaments in last week's 1-0 victory over London rivals Charlton Athletic, and looks set to be out of action for six to eight weeks.

That could signal the recall of Danny Shittu or pave the way for Karleigh Osborne to make his first appearance for The Lions this season.

Shane Lowry, sent off during the defeat to Derby, serves the final game of his three-match suspension, and striker Steve Morison is unavailable for selection as part of the terms of his loan deal between the two clubs.

That frees up another place in the squad which could be filled by one from Shaun Derry, James Henry or Andy Keogh, who were not included in the 18 at The Valley last Saturday.
