Minimum requirement

Lomas calls on team to give their all

Millwall boss Steve Lomas has called on his players to forget about the wins over Blackpool and Charlton and focus only on gaining all three points on Saturday.

The Lions entertain Leeds United at The Den on Saturday aiming to win three League games in a row for the first time since November 2012, and Lomas, speaking in his matchday programme notes, believe they can't get ahead of themselves after climbing the table in the last 10 days.

"Leeds United will come here hurting after two Championship defeats in a row and looking for the sort of response we got against Blackpool," he told The Lion.

"We must be determined that when they arrest that run it is not at our expense.

"There was an honest and commitment, above all, about our last two displays which the crowd responded to. The team and the fans fed off each other and the result was two victories.

"One thing the players must understand is that win, lose or draw, the Millwall crowd will have you all day long providing they see each member of the team giving their all.

"That is the minimum requirement here and the standard we all have to live up to."

Steve's notes are just one of many must-read features in The Lion, your matchday programme for 2013/14.
