Danny stresses importance of defensive soliditySteve Lomas' Millwall side welcome League leaders Burnley on Saturday looking to secure their third win in four games here at The Den.
September successes over Blackpool and Leeds were followed by a last-gasp point against QPR just under two weeks ago and Danny Shittu, speaking to Lions Player this week, has been pleased with the way The Lions have improved since the international break.
"We've played two of the best teams in the League in QPR and Reading and are happy with the way things have gone," he said. "We could maybe have got all three points on each occasion but at the same time the two draws were good results.
"The main thing from our point of view is that we learnt a lot in those two games, and the way we performed gives us confidence.
"It's now up to us to build on what we have achieved. If we can keep the opposition to zeros and ones, and continue creating chances like we have been doing, then we can be a match for anybody in the division.
"We've been looking at Burnley have been doing over the past few weeks. To beat QPR 2-0 isn't something that's easy to do."
