Trott to hit the spot?

31 October 2013

We preview Burnley encounter with Sky Bet

Liam Trotter is 7/2 with Sky Bet to score at any time against table-toppers Burnley at The Den on Saturday.

The Lions midfielder secured a 1-1 draw at Reading last weekend with a last-gasp penalty, and you can get 10/1 on the 25-year-old to grab the last goal of the game for the second week in a row against Sean Dyche's Clarets.

Striker Scott McDonald grabbed Millwall's first goal against QPR in the last game at The Den, and Sky Bet have him priced at 13/2 to open the scoring, or a tempting 2/1 to hit the back of the net at any time.

As for the result itself, Steve Lomas' men are 11/5 to continue their improved recent home form with a victory over Burnley, who arrive at The Den at the back on seven straight League wins.

If correcting scorelines is more your thing, then The Lions are available at 14/1 to win 2-0 - the same result which earned all three points against Leeds back in September. On that day the game entered the interval goalless before second-half strikes from Martyn Woolford and Scott Malone, and Sky Bet are offering 6/1 that Saturday's score will be level at half-time but that Millwall will then end the game victorious.
