Lomas targets fourth successive winSteve Lomas takes his rejuvenated Lions to Birmingham City tonight aiming to end a 45-year hoodoo.
You have to go way back in the record books to October 1968 to find the last time The Lions picked up maximum points at St Andrews - and with confidence oozing back following a run of three successive wins, boss Lomas has every reason to feel quietly optimistic about this evening's match.
He said: "We do not have a great record up there, but then this is a challenge for us to go out there and turn it around."
And Lomas believes that the travelling fans - around 300 of them - can play a big part in any possible Millwall success adding, "If they see the team and individuals giving everything, they will be happy.
The lads have seen that and responded, by giving them commitment and passion. The fans have got right behind us - if you work hard they will back you, win, lose or draw."
