Cherries v Lions photo special

Millwall were left ruing a disappointing afternoon after letting a 2-0 lead slip as AFC Bournemouth romped to a 5-2 victory at Goldsands on Saturday afternoon.

It had all started so well for Steve Lomas' charges with goals from Martyn Waghorn and Liam Trotter putting The Lions in the driving seat within the opening 10 minutes.

But Bournemouth battled back to reduce the deficit on 43 minutes and then rattled in four second-half goals without reply, including a controversial penalty that also saw Lions defender Alan Dunne handed a second yellow card for handling the ball.

Club photographer Brian Tonks was on hand to capture the ecstasy, then the agony, as Millwall fell to a second successive loss in four days.
