No change there?

25 October 2013

Royals and Lions to name the same XIs?

Steve Lomas and Nigel Adkins could both opt to name unchanged starting XIs when Reading take on Millwall at the Madejski on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

Alan Dunne serves the second of his two match suspension following his sending off at Bournemouth, while Lee Martin (hip) and Richard Chaplow (groin) remain sidelined.

Shaun Derry is available again after missing the QPR game under the terms of his loan arrangement with Rangers, and Liam Feeney is set to return from his loan spell at Bolton so both are likely to travel.

The Lions boss saw positive signs in last weekend's 2-2 draw with Harry Redknapp's unbeaten high-flyers and is unlikely to make too many changes after that display.

The same is the case with Steve's Royals counterpart. Reading have yet to lose on their own patch this season, and with Billy Sharp and keeper Alex McCarthy not quite ready to return, Adkins looks set to keep faith with the side that beat Doncaster Rovers 4-1 last time out.
