General/marketing manager role on offerMillwall Lionesses Football Club, with two teams competing in the FA Women's Super League, is looking to appoint a General Manager and Marketing Manager in a combined role to continue the Club’s ongoing development.
This vacancy has arisen due the Club's successful application to join the expanding FA Women's Super League, which brings semi-professional women's football to for the first time.
Based at Millwall Community Trust in South East London, this challenging position is an exciting opportunity for the right person to be the first point of contact for the Club and be responsible for the day-to-day professional running of the administrative side of the business.
The successful applicant should have both business management and marketing experience, ideally with a good working knowledge of women's football in this country.
This will be a full-time position, including some additional responsibilities for the administration of the Millwall Community Trust Women's football programme.
Start date will be early January 2014. Salary £20,000 per annum for a minimum 35 hours per week.
Flexible working is essential, as the General Manager will need to attend home matches played on Sunday afternoons and occasional mid-week evening fixtures.
