Robbo on Clarets clash

Lions skipper Paul Robinson knows only too well that the bookies odds are stacked heavily in favour of table-topping Burnley taking all three points when they enter The Den on Saturday.

Sean Dyche's Clarets, who have amassed 32 points already this season, have been beaten just once in the Championship this season at Brighton way back in August and former Lion Dyche has never been beaten in 12 previous meetings as both a player and coach since leaving Millwall in 2002.

However Robbo leads his side into action on Saturday afternoon boosted not only by successive draws against QPR (2-2) and Reading (1-1), but also feeling that The Lions are starting to turn The Den into a fortress once again.

Speaking in The Lion, he said: "Sean Dyche is remembered fondly from his time here and he has so far proved to be a very good manager.

Our experiences of playing against his sides are not too good and we know Burnley will be organised, tough to break down and full or energy.

It's up to us to match that and show the kind of commitment and will-to-win that was on display in our games against Blackpool, Leeds and QPR here at The Den.

That, combined with your continued support, should stand us in good stead."

Saturday's issue of The Lion will be available to download too as well as buy in person from the ground on Saturday. Click here for full details.
