Lomas insists Millwall must bounce back after Leicester loss
Lions boss Steve Lomas has called on his side to respond from the 3-0 defeat to Leicester City by taking maximum points against Nottingham Forest at The Den on Tuesday night.
A first-half strike from Lloyd Dyer and a brace from Jamie Vardy in the second period saw Nigel Pearson's men comfortably over the line, and Lomas was disappointed both with the timing of the goals and the manner in which they were conceded.
"They've scored very early in the game and away from home it was uphill from there," he said. "It was a sloppy one and the next two goals we conceded were bad. Were it not for the performance of David Forde it could have been a lot worse - make no mistake about it.
"Leicester are clearly a good side and they will be up their with the favourites for the title right at the end of the season, but we just have to play better and need to respond on Tuesday.
"Our home form has been good lately and we have to take the game to Forest from the first whistle right until the last. Everybody is disappointed with this defeat but players, staff and fans all have to stick together and we will move forward."
