Scott spells it out
Left-back Scott Malone believes that The Lions have nothing to fear as they face what looks to be a daunting test at joint Championship leaders Leicester City on Saturday.
Malone and his team-mates go into action facing a free-scoring Foxes side that have won six of their eight home matches this season, losing just the once in their last outing at the King Power Stadium, a 2-0 defeat to arch rivals Nottingham Forest. Nigel Pearson's high-fliers have been beaten just twice all season in the League and currently sit joint-first with Burnley.
But Scott, who returned from a knee injury in last Saturday's 1-0 win against Barnsley, insists that Millwall can take great heart from grinding out those three points as they look to cause an upset tomorrow.
"That three points against Barnsley was a massive three points," he said. "Everyone was saying before the game that it was a six-pointer with us and them down the bottom, and also with Donny (Doncaster) winning on the Friday night.
I think we've always done well against Leicester away from home and Dunney scored in the last few minutes last season to get the points for us.
We got a clean sheet against Barnsley, and we haven't kept one of those for a while, so I think we're going up to Leicester with massive confidence.
Waggy (Martyn Waghorn) said that they are not great at home when teams go out and attack them. The gaffer has brought a lot of attacking players to the team and I think we can go up there and really take the game to them."
