Millwall boss Steve Lomas says Scott McDonald and Scott Malone could be in contention for a place in Saturday's squad as The Lions entertain Barnsley.
McDonald missed the defeat to Bolton with a slight muscle tweak, and left-back Malone has been out of action since picking up a knee injury in the 2-2 with Burnley earlier this month.
Both have this week returned to training, but Lomas will see how they come through Friday's session before making a decision on whether to select the pair.
In midfield, the manager can call upon new addition Guy Moussi, who signed on loan from Nottingham Forest last week, and defender Mark Beevers, who returned from a knee injury to take a place on the bench against Bolton before the international break, will be vying for a starting berth at centre-half along with Danny Shittu.
The Lions are looking for a first win since September's 2-0 victory over Leeds United at The Den. After three draws against QPR, Reading and Burnley, the 3-1 defeat to Bolton extended a winless run to six games, but Steve Lomas' men are unbeaten in four at home.
The Tykes haven't lost in four, a run which includes three draws, but are yet to pick up a win on their travels this season. Their 3-2 October win over Middlesbrough at Oakwell was their only victory in their last 10 Championship matches.
Saturday's match is the 51st meeting between Millwall and Barnsley, and there's nothing to split the two sides with 19 wins each.
The remaining 12 matches have been drawn, but the weekend's visitors have enjoyed better fortunes in recent seasons with three wins in the last five meetings, including victories in both games last season.
