Moussi move

14 November 2013

Midfielder signs on loan from Nottingham Forest

Steve Lomas has boosted his midfield options with the signing of Nottingham Forest midfielder Guy Moussi on an emergency loan deal until January 2nd.

The 28-year-old Frenchman moved to the City Ground from Angers in 2008, and has since gone on to make 139 appearances for Forest, scoring three goals in the process.

The combative midfielder has, however, found his opportunities limited so far this season with just four appearances to his name, but did feature in Forest's Capital One Cup win over Millwall back in August.

"Shaun (Derry) left us last week for Notts County and we wanted some competition in midfield," assistant manager Mick Harford said. Guy is big, strong and athletic, and that's exactly the type of player we've been looking for."

Moussi will wear the number 17 shirt vacated by Derry, and will link up with his new team-mates shortly ahead of next Saturday's Championship game against Barnsley at The Den.

The midfielder will be ineligible to face parent club Forest when they visit The Den on Tuesday 3rd December (7.45pm).
