Lions in white for Tykes

5 November 2013

Millwall launch new initiative in support of Prostate Cancer UK

This month, Millwall are launching the 'Heroes in White' campaign to raise awareness and money for our club partner, Prostate Cancer UK.

For the visit of Barnsley on Saturday 23rd November, The Lions will play in their all white strip to show support for the campaign.

As well, during the entire month of November, Millwall will be donating £5 from every replica white shirt sold in our Club Shop and online, to Prostate Cancer UK.

In addition, we will soon announce details of an exclusive competition to win an away shirt signed by Millwall’s first team squad and management.

Ahead of the Barnsley game here at The Den, Zampa the Lion will be visiting London Bridge, Surrey Quays train station and various other places to promote the game and to raise awareness of the 'Heroes in White' campaign.

On the day of our game against The Tykes, representatives from Prostate Cancer UK will be in and around The Den, handing out information leaflets.

This month's campaign is part of our commitment to work alongside Prostate Cancer UK throughout the 2013/14 season in order to raise vital funds for the charity.

Keep checking millwallfc.co.uk over the coming weeks for details about further exciting initiatives and events.
