Boyer deal done
Millwall Lionesses have continued their squad strengthening by securing the services of Sinead Boyer from local rivals Charlton Athletic WFC.
Sinead, a versatile defender who can also play in the midfield, becomes the third signing by the Lionesses in the past few days following hot on the heels of fellow new recruits Naomi Cole and Leeta Rutherford.
She said: "I'm really happy to have signed for Millwall, After speaking to the manager and seeing the other players at the training ground I decided to join Millwall as this is a great club and has a lot to offer.
It was difficult to leave Charlton as I enjoyed my time there, but it feels like I have returned home now. I am an ambitious player and want to help the club get to the top of the league and to personally develop into the player I know I can be."
Manager Alberto Kurti-Scott added: "I am pleased that Sinead will be joining our WSL programme for the coming season. She brings a lot of experience and quality to the side and is a very talented defender who can play as a centre back or full-back, and who is also comfortable in midfield.
Sinead will bring desire and passion to the side and has a personality that fits in well with the players we already have on board. The group is delighted to have her on board and you can already see the impact she is having at the training ground."
