Change at Leicester

29 November 2013

Boss forced to juggle again

Lions boss Steve Lomas will be forced to reshuffle his pack once again as Millwall take on second placed Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Midfielder Nicky Bailey is ruled out through suspension and loan striker Martyn Waghorn is ineligible to face his former club. Liam Trotter is still recovering from a groin problem, but Jimmy Abdou (knee) who also missed last Saturday's 1-0 win against Barnsley, has trained this week and returns to the squad.

Steve, who has used more players so far this term than any other Championship manager (31), said: "It is frustrating to have to make changes every week because successful teams generally are able to field a nucleus of players week-in week-out.

"But as I keep saying, this is a squad game, and those who come into the side have the opportunity to stake their claim for a regular place."

For Leicester, Anthony Knockaert returns from suspension and will be available, as is Ritchie De Laet, who resumed training again last week, but ex-Lion Sean St. Ledger (groin) and Tom Hopper (shin) both face spells on the sidelines.

The Millwall connection continues on the Foxes bench where Chris Wood is likely to start alongside another blast from the past Zoumana Bakayogo.
