Smith confident Lions can progressJack Smith insists there were plenty of positives to come out of the 0-0 draw with Blackburn Rovers which ensures Millwall's name is in the hat for the Semi-Final draw.
Jack was selected in a holding midfield role - his first start since January - and excelled as The Lions were unfortunate not to get a victory against Michael Appleton's men.
"I thought we did enough to win it," Jack claimed. "We had the chances and we were the better team."
Kenny's side went into the game on the back of four straight League defeats at The Den but were impressive from the off, pinning the visitors into their own half for long spells in the opening forty-five minutes particularly.
"As a team we looked more solid and after Tuesday had to have a good start. The fans gave us a boost but unfortunately it just wasn't to be today."
There's little time to rest ahead of Wednesday's replay at Ewood Park but Jack believes the side have nothing to fear; especially after defeating Rovers 2-0 in the Championship back in November.
"We go into the game with a bit of confidence. We haven't conceded a goal against them yet in two games and we know we're going to create chances."
