Fresh approach

15 March 2013

Kenny looks for same again

The Lions have been in action twice in bruising FA Cup encounters since Charlton Athletic's 1-0 success at Huddersfield last Saturday.
After adding two new faces to his squad, boss Kenny Jackett will now assess the rest of his squad knowing Millwall face a high-tempo London derby at The Valley (kick-off 12.30pm).
"We need to be fresh and full of energy for this game," he said. "I will have a look at everyone to make sure that we put out a side capable of competing in what is bound to be a high-tempo affair.
I'm delighted that we will have 3,000 of our fans there cheering us on, and hopefully we'll have taken confidence from two much improved performances in the last week.
It is a quick turnaround for Jermaine Easter and Richard Chaplow, but going forward they will give us an additional goal threat I'm sure."
