Striker Jermaine set to sign on loan
Kenny Jackett is set to add to his striking options with the signing of Crystal Palace forward Jermaine Easter on loan until the end of the season.
Jermaine has played for The Lions before in a similar loan spell back in 2008 where he scored on his debut against Swindon Town.
The 31-year-old, who is Cup tied, began his career at Hartlepool United before moves to Cambridge United, Boston United and Stockport County.
It was at Wycombe, however, where he really made a name for himself; scoring 21 goals in little over 60 games for Wanderers.
From there he moved to Plymouth Argyle and spent time on loan with Colchester United after his spell at The Den. Most recently, Crystal Palace signed him from MK Dons.
The Welsh international has scored twice for The Eagles this term and could go straight into the squad for Saturday’s London derby against Charlton Athletic once formalities have been completed.
