Lions agree loan for St Ledger

Millwall have reached agreement with Leicester City to sign Irish international centre-half Sean St. Ledger on an emergency loan deal until 4th May.
St. Ledger, 28, came off the bench to play alongside David Forde for the Republic of Ireland in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Austria and will join up with his new team-mates following Friday night's game with The Foxes.
He naturally will not have any contact with The Lions until then.
The Birmingham-born defender began his career at Peterborough United where he emerged through the youth ranks. He then joined Preston North End in 2006 for whom he eventually made 200 appearances, scoring 11 goals for The Lilywhites.
Irishman Sean joined Middlesbrough on loan for three months between September and December 2009 but returned to Preston before his switch to Leicester in the summer of 2011.
St. Ledger will provide competition and cover for  Danny Shittu, Mark Beevers and Karleigh Osborne, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring strain.
He has been granted permission to play in the FA Cup.
