Fordey, Keogh and Easter called up
Whilst the majority of the Millwall team are relaxing on International break, David Forde, Andy Keogh and Jermaine Easter are all being kept on their toes, writes Joe Taylor.
Fordey and Keogh have been called up by the Republic of Ireland for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Sweden in Stockholm on Friday 22nd March and Austria in Dublin four days later. The Lions' keeper, who started in the last game against Poland, will compete with Keiren Westwood for the number one jersey.
Keogh had not originally been included in Giovanni Trapattoni's initial squad of 29 players, but is named in the final 23 after Paul McShane, Aiden McGeady and Anthony Pilkington were ruled out due to injury.
Easter, meanwhile, has been called up at the last minute to face Scotland in Glasgow on March 22nd and Croatia in Cardiff on the 26th, by Wales manager Chris Coleman.
Coleman has seen ex-Lion Steve Morison pull out through injury, so Millwall's current loan striker has been drafted in.
