Celebrating 20 years at The (formerly new) DenDoesn't time fly?
For those of us of a certain age, it scarcely seems credible that it is now two decades since Millwall left Cold Blow Lane for SE16.
To mark the anniversary, The Lions are returning to the same shirt design worn by Rhino and co. during that first season at their new home (which saw them finish third in the second tier of English football incidentally).
The traditional Dundee blue has been retained in place of the royal blue Mick McCarthy's side took to the field in against Sporting Lisbon when the ground opened on 4th August 1993, but the white pin stripes mark out the similarity. New sponsors Prostate Cancer UK have adapted their logo within their branding guidelines to produce the finished article.
Hopefully, in another 20 years Lions fans will look back fondly on the current shirts, and also on a successful season for Steve Lomas' men on the pitch.
