Steve and Chopper on message

Lions boss Steve Lomas believes Millwall Football Club can play a major role in saving lives by working with Prostate Cancer UK as the club's main sponsors.
He said: "It's all about awareness. A lot of families been affected by cancer so this is a very positive message to older men in particular to be aware of the seriousness of this disease and what to do if they think they detect some of the symptoms."
Neil Harris added: "After all the work done by Millwall and our fans for cancer charities over the years this is a natural extension of that. Previously it has probably been under the radar, but now the profile will be raised and I'm both pleased and proud we have taken this step."
Asked whether opting to support a charity rather than have a commercial company on the team's shirts would affect the manager's spending power, CEO Andy Ambler stated: "Not at all. The chairman and the board have made their commitment to Steve in terms of his requirements, and equally they have made their commitment to Prostate Cancer UK. We are determined to be competitive in the Championship this season, but at the same time play are part in help tackling a genuine life or death issue."
